Myrtos Beach

It is considered as the most famous beach in Kefalonia. The beach has a blue flag every year and it is in the top ten beaches in Europe. From the road above you have the most stunning view of the beach, known for the contrast of the white pebble and the shades of blue that the currents create in the sea with the dark green of the area..

Antisamos Beach

Antisamos beach, near Sami, is one of the best beaches of Kefalonia.
It is a beautiful pebble beach with turquoise waters, surrounded by impressive verdant hills.

Melissani Lake

An absolutely "must see" in village Karavomilos.
Crystal clear waters and unique geophysical sculptures, seen from a boat that guides you throught the entire lake.

Drogarati Cave

The cave is dated more than 100 million years.It's concidered one of the most beautiful caves in Greece. 
The acoustics is unbelievable and from time to time concerts take place in it.
Also a "not to miss" sight, near village Chaliotata.

Assos Village

Just north of the beautiful beach of Myrtos lies the sleepy pretty village of Assos. 
A series of hairpin bends takes you down from the cliff top road to the bottom where you will find the romantic village. 
Assos has a "lost in time" feeling to it. It is almost as if once you are encased in the atmosphere of the village you simply forget the rest of the world exists. 
There is a small village square with a few tavernas and restaurants, there is a small harbour where little fishing boats bob up and down and you may even catch a glimpse of a luxury yacht or two. Assos does have a small pebbly beach where you can sunbathe and the waters are clear and shallow.

Fiskardo Village

Fiskardo is the most northern town on the island and is a favourite not only with holiday makers but with the yachting flotillas that visit this pretty quaint village .. Pastel coloured Venetian buildings sit proudly around the harbour where you can take a break and enjoy a cool drink at one of the many tavernas that overlook the water. It's a great place to people watch, or simply observe the fishermen preparing there nets for the next trip. The port serves ferry routes to the islands of Ithaca with the port of Frikes and Lefkada.

Poros Village

Poros is the second biggest port in Kefalonia, just a few kilometers north of Skala.
It has a beautiful long beach with caffe's and traditional taverns. It also has ,many small beaches reached by 4X4 vehicles.

Mount Aenos

Words cannot describe how awesome this majestic mountain is.
Black pine trees, fresh air and a breathtaking view, suggest an experience few people have the privilege to live.

Saint Gerasimos Monastery

The patron saint of the island of Kefalonia.
It's believed that the Holy Relics of the Saint, performs miracles.
In 16th of August, in wich a great miracle occured, a huge bazaar takes place.

Lourdas 

This village has a modern feel because there are no pre-earthquake buildings, Square with spring and huge tree that gives shade to a small cafe (coffee) enables you to try a little taste of authentic Greek village life. Here you will be able to enjoy the relaxed, informal atmosphere, while having a coffee.

Katelios


Kato Katelios is a friendly and relaxing resort with a laid back approach to life. Many people choose to revisit Katelios and it has built up a loyal following over the years.Katelios is in the south east of the island and is situated in a large, flat plain between the villages of Hionata, Mavrata, Markopoulo and Ratzakli. Katelios looks across the water to the nearby island of Zante and over to the Greek mainland and is surrounded by fertile agricultural land and rocky hills.

Argostoli

Argostoli is the islands capital and main port. It has been the capital of the island since 1757. The town has a population of 14.000 inhabitants. Argostoli sits proudly on the Koutavos Lagoon, located on the far end of the bay of the same name and is surrounded by mountains and verdant forests. On the cobalt blue waters of the sheltered lagoon small traditional fishing boats mingle alongside a handful of smart sophisticated private yachts. Early morning you can see taverna owners and hoteliers buying fish at the fish market on the quayside
